The Adventure Begins

Only two more days and we are off to Yeats country! Our blog title, taken from my most beloved of his poems, "The Wild Swans At Coole", speaks to the migratory nature of the swan, yet emphasizes the bird's lifelong faithfulness to its mate; a unique quality in the avian world. Like the swans, we shall migrate for a time to a distant land, but with hopes of faithfully returning to Alaska and to the next season in each of our lives accompanied by a broader scope of Creation; an appreciation for and knowledge of places we have yet only dreamed of.

  1. Way to go! Though, I do have to say that the font color and the background make it hard to read. I am excited for your trip, have fun and experience the Emerald Isle. And drink a Guiness while you are there.
